About the Decorators Office Limited

Background

The Decorator’s Office Limited was formed just over 2 years ago.

The Proprietor, Peter Baker, had previously been a company Director in an unrelated sphere of work but had for a long time wanted to bring his business acumen and his love of painting and decorating to the marketplace so as to offer clients something genuinely different. Namely, someone who is not just another tradesman but a businessman as well.

What makes us different

Taking a real pride in what we do. We really do try to make our next job better than the last. We aim to keep our customers fully aware of how the work is progressing by engaging with them and inviting feedback at the end of each working day. We are happy to make the customer aware of any problems that have arisen and how we either overcame them or aim to overcome them. This interaction is important as it engenders a feeling of trust between ourselves and the customer.

It is equally important to act in a thoroughly professional manner at all times. This ethos covers all aspects of being a professional tradesman and extends not only from the standard of your own painting and decorating skills but to that of your paperwork, invoicing and your people skills generally.

Freshly laundered and pressed decorating whites and a clean and tidy vehicle go a long way to reassuring customers that what you promise you will deliver.

As members of the Painting and Decorating Association and Associate members of the Dulux Select Decorators scheme we are also more than happy to discuss with customers their own thoughts and ideas as to colour scheming and to offer our own advice and assistance. This advice extends to offering our experience as to the right product and finish for the job.

We are more than happy to work in conjunction with your interior designer thereby bringing your concepts and ideas into being.

A full painting and decorating service.

We are happy to provide a service that ranges from a straightforward repainting job through paper hanging, borders, feature walls and re-varnishing/staining to more intricate work including murals on nursery and children’s bedroom walls and basic tiling works.
